Parque Ecológico da Pampulha is one of Belo Horizonte's largest urban parks, created in 2004 to promote environmental conservation and protect the natural ecosystems surrounding Lagoa da Pampulha. Covering more than 30 hectares, the park combines preserved green areas with spaces dedicated to recreation, environmental education, and outdoor activities.

The park offers walking and cycling trails, playgrounds, picnic areas, birdwatching, environmental education programs, sports courts, and scenic viewpoints overlooking the lagoon.
