To get to the trail go to the entrance of Mangabeiras Park. The walk is well signposted and easy going. However, the entire route consists of a continuous climb. The first part takes you through Mangabeiras Park until you reach Vale dos Quiosques. At one point, there is a ‘Restricted Access’ path; you should follow this path until you pass through an exit gate from the park area. To the left of the gate, there is a passage leading out to a road. Simply follow the road until you reach the antennas. Going round the antennas, there is a trail that leads to Pico BH.
